How to get my existing Zinio purchases on my new iPhone/iPad (iOS)

If you recently restored or switched to a new Apple device:

  • We recommend users download the app on the new device rather than sync from an iTunes backup. (Magazines are not synced in iTunes, they will need to be re-downloaded after installing the app)
  • After downloading the app, remember to sign in using the same email address originally used with Zinio
  • Apple stores Guest purchases to the device, therefore it is not normally possible to restore these to a new device...  Should you have the same device please go to Setting> Restore iTunes Purchases (ensuring you have a strong internet connection) and these will reappear in the library after a few minutes.
  • If it seems like you're missing an issue on your iPad, try looking for it with a different sort filter. Your library can be sorted in two ways: by date or by title.

You can check which publications are compatible with your new device by going to and searching for the title. Each title lists the platforms that it's compatible with. Keep in mind that iPhone and iPad are considered different platforms and there are restrictions on adult publications.
